The device is small and portable so the engineer can carry it with his laptop and reset on the customers site. Most dealers/service agents just have one unit at the workshop and provide the engineers with the reset chips, which they fit on-site.

The Konica-Minolta DS2432 chip can always be reset there is no limits or life on them.

This DS2432 chip is fully resettable note the contact location at the far corners.

 DS08 + DS2431

This is the style of the DS2431 + DS08 chip note the contact location. With the new software you can now reset the counter on the DS08 and DS2431 chips, every customer of Chip Life gets software upgrades free of charge. Non Chip Life customers contact us via email but there will be a charge for the software.

Parsia supply toner for these machines now and most dealers are collecting the old toner cartridges and removing the generic chips and are reprogramming them with the IU chip information so they can be fitted to the imaging units. Now you save by resetting the Imaging Units and save by using the Parsia toner. Please note the Parsia toner is only successful with corporate colour machines.

Konica-Minolta toner cartridges also have chips on them and as stated above the DS2431, DS2432 and DS08 ones can be reprogrammed to be Imaging Unit chips too.

This device has no limits and no top-up credits are required. Also it comes with a lifetime unit warranty provided the casing / screws have not been removed or damaged, only the cables are excluded from the warranty (which you can buy locally)

The C250/2/300/352 Imaging Unit Resetter will reset all the DS2432 (original type) chips as the encription data has been discovered. The newer DS08 and DS2431 chips are encrypted and the new software allows the count to be reset too. The Parsia toner chips can be converted to act as Imaging Unit chips and there are no limits on how many times the DS2431, DS2432, DS08 and the Parsia chips can be reset. The reader software provided also allow you to read the data from new Oce,Imagistics and other badged bizhubs and save the binary files so you can convert to your nominated brand.

The generic chips that were available for sale are no longer required as the resetter can reset all of the chips that are in circulation.
